SilvercreekBoardMembers@gmail.comVacancies on the Board
Sometimes a Board member is not able to fulfill their entire term and leaves a vacancy on the Board.
To assure continuity, the Board's ability to distribute responsibilities and workload, and to be able to establish a quorum for meetings and decisions, the Board may make a temporary appointment to fill the position until the next regular Annual Meeting. Filling such postions is at the discression of the Board and is not mandatory. For example, if there is only a short time until the next Annual Meeting, the Board may defer the appointment and wait for the next election.
The appointment will be made by consensus of the existing Board Members.
The term is limited to the time remaining until the next Annual Meeting election.
The appointed position will be included with the three regular vacancies during the next Annual Meeting election.
