The $5 All-City Bus Tour 

St. George Bus System forms a giant spaghetti loop thrown across the city.6 hours to tour almost the entire City of St. George and Washington. Require 5 tickets and 5 transfers.   Each leg/loop is 30 minutes with 10 minutes for each transfer.
  • 'Tour' route begins by walking from Silver Creek to Halfway Wash Trail and then up the trail connector on south side of Sunset Blvd.
  • Board Route 4 - Sunset at Bus Stop #134 Sunset InstaCare ($1 - get transfer) going to Sunset Corner.
  • At Sunset Corner, continue on Route 3 - West Side Connector eastbound (use transfer) to Utah Technical University (St George Transit Center).
  • At St George Transit Center continue on Route 2 - Riverside ($1 - get transfer) riding the entire loop returning to the Transit Center.
  • Transfer to Route 1 - Red Cliffs (use transfer) and ride until you get to Deseret Industries in Washington.  Exit bus.
  • Board Route 7 - Washington ($1 - get transfer) and do the entire loop returning to Deseret Industries.
  • Board the next Route 2 - Red Cliffs bus (use transfer) and return to St George Transit Center.
  • At the Transit Center, board the next Route 3 - West Side Connector westbound ($1 - get transfer) to Sunset Corner.
  • At Sunset Corner, board the next Route 6 - Dixie Dr South (use transfer) and do the entire loop to Bloomington and back.
  • At Sunset Corner board the next Route 5 - Ivins ($1 - get transfer) and ride the entire loop, returning to Sunset Corner.
  • At Sunset Corner board the next Route 4 - Sunset (use transfer) and ride the figure-8 loop to Stop #134 - Sunset InstaCare and exit.
Bus Loops originates at the Transit Centers going through this sequence:
Route-2 (Riverside) becomes Route-3 (West Side Connector west)Route-3 (westbound) becomes Route-4 (Sunset)Route-4 (Sunset) becomes Route-6 (Dixie Dr South) or Route-5 (Ivins)Route-5 (Ivins) becomes Route-6 (Dixie Dr South)Route-6 (Dixie Dr South) become Route-3 (West Side Connector east)Route-3 (eastbound) becomes Route-1 (Red Cliffs)Route-1 (Red Cliffs) becomes Route-7 (Washington)
Buses usually arrive at the Transit Centers at the same time to facilitate transfers.
Sequence:2-Riverside becomes 3-West Side Connector westbound becomes 4-Sunset becomes 6-Dixie Dr South becomes 3-West Side Connector eastbound becomes 1-Red Cliffs becomes 7-Washington  (Every other Sunset bus becomes 5-Ivins)2 —> 3-East —> 4 —> 5 —> 6 —> 3-West —> 1 —> 7

Zion and back via Bus for $12 (Park Admission $20) 

From Silver Creek (because of Zion Route departure times - recommend being at #134 Sunset InstaCare (0.6 mile) Bus Stop at 6:05am/6:45am/8:45am for eventual 8:30am/9:30am/11:30am arrival at Zion South Entrance.This only works well during the periods when the Zion Shuttle is in operation. Total travel time Silver Creek to Zion:  2hr 35 minutes if leaving at 6:05am / 3hrs all other times.Cost per person each way: $1.00 Route 6 - free transfer to Route 3 + transfer to Route 2 $5.00 Zion Route eastbound

Halfway Wash Trail to Sunset Blvd - Walk from Silver Creek to #134 Sunset InstaCare (0.6 mile) Bus Stop Route 6 - Dixie Dr South to Sunset Corner Transit Hub (3 minutes + 10 minutes transfer wait) Route 3 - West Side Connector - Sunset Corner to St. George Transit Center (10 minutes + 10 minutes transfer wait)SunTran Route 2 - Riverside - St. George Transit Center to Dixie Center (12 minutes + Zion Route - Dixie Center to Zion National ParkZion Canyon Shuttle - Inside Zion Canyon to Zion Narrows (recommend 7am/8am/10am departures) (1.5 hours to Zion)

5:40pm - Lion Blvd Springdale (arriving at Dixie Center at 7:04pm) (if you want to take Route 5 - Ivins to Lin's Market)

6:40pm - Lion Blvd Springdale (arriving at Dixie Center at 8:04pm) (if you are willing to walk from Sunset Corner)

7:10pm - Lion Blvd Springdale (arriving at Dixie Center at 8:34pm) (bicycle/Uber/get picked up from Dixie Center)

From Lion Blvd drop-off in Springdale, you can walk 0.5 mile to the Zion National Park South Entrance Station—or— ride the FREE Springdale Shuttle Northbound to the South Entrance. FREE - Springdale Shuttle goes both north and south covering the length of Springdale in 9 stops.FREE - Zion Canyon Shuttle - Inside park only - South Entrance Station to Zion Narrows in 9 stops.
